In 1967, in an interview with Pierre Restany, Neiman said that female forms are abstract, and that he calls upon models in the same way that Vasarely calls upon geometric forms.

If N. considers the forms of the woman as perfect in the state of nature, he exalts the reality of it by doubling the formula, or by multiplying it, one could risk, in compositions with 2 or 4 buttocks, 8 legs and 8 breasts, according to his imagination.

Two states emerge from the work of composition, of geometrisation from the most sensual and erotic elements of the female body: a loss of reference points – losing the objective source in favour of or to gain inspiration, to intensify the perceptive experience itself -, and the observation that symmetrisation is, after all, anti-natural, and almost monstrous – or expressed in a more Neimanian register that imperfections, details, particularities make the beauty of the living being and its wealth.
